Management Companies and Landlords

Mold

The goal of our experienced, licensed inspectors is to find any underlying moisture sources that could possibly be contributing to mold growth. Included in our services is a detailed report of our findings, and if remediation is needed, a protocol/scope of work. This second document can be given to a remediation company to use as a guide to safely remove any mold without affecting the air quality in the property. Because Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc., does mold testing and inspections only (no mold remediation), our results are unbiased and accurate. There is no conflict of interest. Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. also does PRV’s-Post Remediation Verifications after mold remediation has been done. We can verify that the remediation has been properly completed.

Local Law 55

Our inspectors can fulfill the annual requirements of Local Law 55 for both large and small properties.

Local Law 31

Owners are required to test all rental units for lead-based paint before August 2025. If a child under 6 comes to reside in a unit, the testing must be done within one year or the August 2025 deadline, whichever is sooner. Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. is an Independent EPA Certified Lead Inspector, and we have the XRF equipment to detect the currently mandated lead threshold. We are available to inspect both large buildings and smaller properties.

Lead

Our EPA certified inspectors can test for lead paint, lead in water and lead in soil. Currently there are two methods to test for lead paint. A Lead Hazard Analysis can be performed, locating potential lead hazards, including dust or paint chip samples for lead, or a more comprehensive XRF lead paint inspection can be done, checking all layers of every painted surface for lead. It is highly recommended to test for lead if there are young children in the home.

Asbestos

Many older buildings still have asbestos-containing materials. Do you have suspect materials in your building that you would like tested? Or are you concerned that a past abatement job was done poorly? Get answers to your questions by hiring Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. to perform asbestos testing.
