Oasis Coronavirus Safety Protocol and Disinfecting Service

Dear Neighbor,

We know you have so much to take care of — your family, your pets, your home. We want you to know that through the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, you can count on all of us at Oasis Indoor Environmental, Inc. to be here for you.

We are open, and our plan is to stay open to provide you with the essential services you need.  We are already very “microbially conscience” and know how to make sure that we do not bring any virus into your home or business.

Our safety protocol is as follows:

  • Our tool bags and coats will be left by the front door, or an area of your choice.
  • All tools and instruments are sanitized before and after each appointment.
  • Our Inspectors will put on (don) N95 respirators, gloves and protective booties at the threshold (doorway) of your home.

Health and safety are our top priority. We are taking care of our Team Members so they can take care of you. This includes offering paid leave to any Team Member affected by illness, so no one must come to work sick.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING SERVICE

We are happy to provide a detailed cleaning and disinfecting service.  The Coronavirus is able to survive on surfaces much longer than usual for a virus.  Also, any dirt or grime on the surface will serve as a harbor for the virus and make it much harder to disinfect.  For this reason, we agree wholeheartedly with the CDC that a three-step system is necessary.

  1. Clean
    1. Carpeting
      1. Use HEPA filtered industrial vacuums with appropriate attachments to clean wall to wall carpeting or area rugs.  The true HEPA system used in our vacuums makes sure that fine particulate is captured in the vacuum cleaner.
    2. Hard Flooring, Baseboards, Trim, and Window Sills.
      1. Use HEPA filtered industrial vacuums with appropriate attachments (such as soft brush attachments) to vacuum clean all hard (wooden, ceramic, metal, etc…) building surfaces.
      2. Use a clean microfiber cloth dampened by water and cleaning surfactant to remove surface dirt and grime.
    3. Furniture and Contents
      1. Hard surfaces will be HEPA vacuumed using a soft bristle attachment (except for delicately finished surfaces or any that you ask us not to HEPA vacuum).
      2. A dry (or dampened if appropriate for the surface) microfiber cloth to remove remaining dirt.
      3. Soft surfaces will be HEPA vacuumed with the appropriate attachment (except for any delicate fabrics or pieces or items you ask us not to).
    4. Glass
      1. The inside of windows and any glass surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected.
  2. Disinfect
    1. Carpeting
      1. Carpeting to be sprayed with disinfectant that effectively kills virus but does not discolor or compromise the materials.
    2. Hard Flooring, Baseboards, Trim, and Window Sills.
      1. To be mopped or wiped with a microfiber dampened by a disinfectant that effectively kills virus but does not discolor or compromise the materials.
    3. Furniture, Contents, Door Knobs, and all “Touched” Surfaces
      1. Hard surfaces will be wiped with a microfiber dampened by a disinfectant that effectively kills virus but does not discolor or compromise the materials.
      2. Soft surfaces will be sprayed with a disinfectant that effectively kills virus but does not discolor or compromise the materials.
    4. Glass
      1. The inside of windows and any glass surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected.
  3. Dwell Time
    1. Dwell time is a very important step in making sure that the disinfectant has a long enough time to dwell on the surface and kill any virus.  We make sure that there is enough dwell time for the products used to do their job without damaging the surfaces.

As our Neighbor, your health and safety are always of the utmost importance.

If there is anything we can do to assist you during this challenging time, please let us know.

Stay safe and healthy,

Spencer Hampy
