These are questions that immediately come to mind when a new odor invades our space. While odor detection is very subjective – smells sweet, smells pungent, smells kind of like …, other descriptions of an odor or chemical invasion can be more specific.

Sometimes the odor or fumes cause your eyes to water or throat to feel scratchy. Sometimes it can make you light-headed or tired. Yes, in some cases we just don’t like the smell, but in other cases we may be having physical reactions to that odor, gas, or chemical.

We are able with modern sampling techniques to determine what gaseous elements are in your air, and what their potential for harm may be. Whether you are trying to determine the source of a smell or have real reason to believe something is harming you, Oasis Indoor Environmental can help. We have sampling strategies that allow for immediate grab samples, or samples that test your environment for 8 hours (work shift), 12 hours, 24 hours, or multiple days.

We use EPA, NIOSH, and OSHA recommended methodology and AIHA Accredited third-party laboratories.
